(Outfit Diary) Peachy Prim

Cardigan - J. Crew  /  Blouse - Gap  /  Skirt - c/o Sugarlips  /  Shoes - Forever 21

When I was growing up, I practised gymnastics. And, like all young gymnasts, I dreamed of going to the Olympics. Sadly, since I lacked all neccessary qualifications - ability, talent and fearlessness- I never passed the provincial competition level. My training ended when I was sixteen. I had a lot of trouble leaving the sport behind, so when I finally did, I made a clear break; for years, I wouldn't even watch gymnastics on TV! All that has changed in the past few years. I've been waiting for months for the gymnastics competitions to begin in London. I spent most of my weekend watching, reading and studying the early results. But I always went out on Saturday afternoon, because I couldn't wait another minute to wear my new skirt from Sugarlips. Isn't it just lovely?

  32. This outfit makes me look and makes me smile. There is a lot of feminine fun in this and it is now a firm favourite of mine from your blog. I have a pair of gold shoes I adore wearing, I find gold goes with everything, but here you've paired it with an unusual combination of blush pink and black and white and it works. (This is why you were a style inspiration for me, Cee!)
