Guest Post: Caroline of The Feminista Journals

Well hello there! My name is Caroline. I'm honoured that the lovely Cee has given me some space to share my blog and my story. She's just wonderful, isn't she! Fashionable as well as friendly, kind, and thoughtful.

My blog is The Feminista Journals and it's a blog about my daily life (what I do and who and what I love) and my love of both fashion (what I wear) and feminism (what I believe in). 

I  combine my feminist ideals with my love of fashion by following fashion trends and constantly creating and re-creating my personal fashion style. I love dressing up, I always have. As a little girl I would watch in awe as my mom got dressed everyday, picking out her outfit and her jewellery, applying her make-up, and finishing off her routine with a spray of perfume. 

I've also always had an eye for high-end luxury items that I currently can't afford as a Master's student (almost done, thank goodness!). I spend most of my time ooh-ing and aww-ing over items via the Internet (thanks Pinterest!) and trying to find more affordable pieces. That being said, I'm an avid thrifter and vintage lover and am always looking for a fabulous deal or bargain. Woo hoo! I'd describe my style as feminine, classic, and minimalist all at once.

Some of the other things my blog features are recipes (I love food!), quick tips (easy, inexpensive, and home-made remedies get me excited), DIYS (I'm also a craft enthusiast), hair and make-up tutorials (my latest obsession is all-natural and organic make-up), and how to style different fashion basics (what I call "three ways to wear" on my blog).
