(Outfit Diary) Place des Vosges

My first week in Paris has come to an end - so here I am, back on my little blog. From the start, our stay in Paris has been what might be called an adventure; delayed flights, short walks around the neighbourhood that quickly turn into getting lost for two hours (because all streets look the same in the dark), a mysterious water leak in our bedroom... But I'm not complaining. Paris is exactly the way it was in my little girl dreams, full of history, mystery and romance. We live practically next-door to Place des Vosges, a royal residence built in the 1600s. The Musee Carnavalet, which houses the entire treasure trove of Parisian history, is just a few blocks further away. And if we walk in the other direction, we can see the July column that marks Place de la Bastille. We've already made friends with several neighbourhood cats, eaten at many of our favourite restaurants and patisseries and, of course, done a bit of shopping! I'll tell you more about it tomorrow. Kisses!

Bisous !

  35. oh Cee, i'm such a fan of this sincere tribute to Parisian style! basically, it’s perfect. thanks for the awesome assortment of swoons over these incredible photographs...you (and Ian!) always amaze. glad you got over that jet lag lades, you are really there...so amazing to see!!!

i've been off the grid for a bit now but am sure happy to be catching up here today :) between getting an end-of-summer cold and then vacating the premises to San Fran (the boyf & i finally had a real holiday-yah!), well things got a little hairy for any kind of blogging upkeep or visits.

may your happiness continue the whole year through - perhaps even cat allergies won't affect you...i hear tell that following your divine destiny is a cure all for everything :) major loves...xo ♥
