(Outfit Diary) Please, don't feed the neighbours

October 24, 2012

Club Monaco blouse, H&M jeans, ASOS heels, Les Composantes bag, J. Crew and Aldo bracelets

Porkie, without a doubt our orangest neighbour, can be relatively annoying - even for a cat! He meows and scratches at the door, no matter the time of day or night, wanting to be let in. He naps on our bed for hours on end... and when he wakes up, he goes looking for a snack on our kitchen counter! Even though he lives in the apartment downstairs, he spends far more of his waking hours at our place. He was even hanging around during our rainy day photoshoot this week - we were trying to get these snapshots in the stairewell, the only dry place available. In spite of the loud noise from the shutter, Porkie wandered around our feet, and even crawled under my legs when I was sitting down. He's really lucky he's so cute. He reminds me of Cat in Breakfast at Tiffany's, don't you think?

  24. I like the contrast between your artfully ripped jeans and the more tailored pieces - heels, structured bag, pearls and button-down shirt.

Your post title reminded me of a 4-year-old neighbour we had when I was young and living in a small and safe neighbourhood. She was born into a very large family and the children were hard to keep track of. She liked sweets but didn't get enough to her liking at home, so she would go door-to-door, saying in a small plaintive voice 'I so hungwy'.

I'm loving the bag and shoes of this outfit, so classic and beautiful. You looks lovely as always.
