Do you ever find yourself waking up on Monday morning and wishing that the weekend would start over because you weren’t ready? Welcome to every Monday morning of my life. I had an extra day off this weekend for a special holiday photoshoot – it seems almost like I’m getting ahead of myself when I think that I’m already planning for the holidays, but the season sneaks up on me every year, just like Monday morning sneaks up on me every week – but still, when I woke up this morning, I felt like the last time I blinked, it was Tuesday afternoon. Time seems to fly by more quickly with every passing year – the last of the leaves are just clinging to the trees, whereas they had only begun to fall when we captured these shots in late September. The days of bare arms and open shoes have long since passed now, replaced by coat and scarf weather (which, as we all know, I love.) But I always want to share all the outfits we capture, no matter how long it takes and no matter how out of season I may be by the time I get to them, because time flies by so quickly that I almost think I might not even notice these moments if it weren’t for having them on film…!

  2. Oh I LOVE this outfit Cee! Your sweater is absolutely gorgeous + your shoes lend the prettiest pop of colour/whimsy! The bow detail is always a favourite! And loved seeing you last night, although as per usual, it went way too fast! But let’s plan for an Xmas gathering at your home, complete with buttered rum. Yum! Cheers to a lovely week and fingers crossed my sites up soon!! xo

  3. I still can’t believe we’re already into November – it definitely always seems like time is just racing by and I can barely keep up sometimes!

I remember being very young when someone first told me that times seems to pass so much more quickly the older one gets, and not being able to wrap my head around it. I absolutely get it now. Lovely look, as usual!

Yes, weekends go far too quickly, especially when you are busy with activities and forget about the essentials, then wake up Monday morning with no coffee in the house. When it comes to getting ready for the holidays, I’m always a beat behind, fumbling around with holiday outfit photos after the actual holiday and scrambling to get gift guides up while hearing that everyone else in the world somehow had all their shopping done weeks ago.

I vote for a week of work and then a week of vacation. LOL I love your tunic sweater Cee. And those heels are gorgeous! Love the color, the fact they are suede and that they’re topped with a bow. Very nice.
