I have Paris on my mind – okay, I also have some truly unglamourous things like filling cardboard boxes with all of my possessions and buying travel insurance on my mind, too, but I’m not even interested in that, so I sincerely doubt anyone wants to read about it. And when I think about Paris, even if it is in spare moments between trying to get all of my moving tasks done, I think of wearing gowns. There’s just something about the cobbled streets and palatial architecture of the city that demands beautiful dresses, even if you choose to pair them with a leather jacket and ankle boots – in fact, nothing could be more Parisian! I already have a selection of beautiful dresses packed for our trip, but so far, that hasn’t stopped me from eyeing several more…

  1. Oooh, I LOVE the sound of a dress paired with a leather jacket & booties. Sign me up!! And I’m especially loving that ASOS embroidered lace maxi dress. Soooo dreamy and pretty! All the best with your packing + I’m doing a happy dance today… because our snow is finally melting. Yay, yay. Haha! Happiest Wednesday to you love!! xo

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to just leave work and go dress shopping more than I do right now….

  3. The color palette here is spring perfection, and the idea of one of these gowns paired with a leash jacket and booties makes me want to go shopping immediately. I’m so excited for all of the IG updates (and sartorial inspiration!) from your trip!

I would love to live in a place where it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to head out to dinner on a Friday night (or a tuesday night) in a beautiful gown. I think the white chiffon is gorgeous and reminds me of your previous time in Paris, while the white lace midi seems more like what you’d gravitate towards today. Which perhaps sounds silly, since you today have chosen all of these dresses and they would all be a good choice.
