On y va !

March 1, 2017

The big day is here…! Our flight to Paris departs in just a few hours. Although I’ve only been talking about our upcoming travel plans for a few weeks, the reality is that we’ve been planning for this day for months (and months and months), so it feels a bit surreal to realize that it’s finally arrived. I’ve been forced to make some difficult fashion-related choices in the last few days, sacrificing a coat and a pair of shoes, among other things, so that my suitcase (just) meets the airline’s weight requirement, which is always a bit sad, but ultimately, I know I won’t miss those few things that much once we’re on the ground in my favourite city on earth. I want to tell you that I know exactly how we’re going to spend our first days in the capital, but the truth is, we have very few official plans – we’re just going to take it all in and wander in whatever direction feels right… with a croissant in hand and a camera at the ready, of course! I’m so excited to share all of our adventures, so I’m officially back on Snapchat (in case you’re interested in more frequent updates and, to be honest, a lot more silliness.) And there’s even more behind the scenes content in my newsletter – after months of planning, the first one is out today! Happy Wednesday, lovelies – I’ll see you all in Paris very soon.
