A love of simple, understated, elegant style drove Cee Fardoe to start Coco & Vera in June 2010. A business professional by day with a creative flair and a love of the written word – she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing – Cee hoped to inspire women and to show them how to add a little bit of Parisian je ne sais quoi to their everyday lives. After more than a decade of writing about personal style and travel, Cee decided it was time to start telling different kinds of stories – and thus, Coco & Voltaire was born.

Coco & Voltaire is, essentially, a fashion blog about books, because a good book, like a good pair of shoes, never goes out of style.

And Cee collects both; good books and good shoes. When she’s not at her desk, sifting through her overflowing inbox, Cee can always be found with her nose in a book… or her pen on paper, writing one of her own. (She’s published three so far.) She currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her husband. They make frequent trips to their second home, Paris, always stopping at their favourite book shops, and love discovering new cities together.

Ian Lloyd, Cee’s husband and partner in crime, is the award-winning photographer behind Coco & Voltaire. A Paris-trained chef by day, Ian has worked as a freelance photographer for over a decade. He has found time to photograph events and campaigns for Estée Lauder, Laduree, Vera Wang, Mavi, Chantal Paris and many more respected brands, while continuing to work as a professional chef.

Coco & Voltaire reaches thousands of fashion lovers daily and continues to grow every day. Cee and Ian’s work has been featured in publications such as Glitter Guide, In Style, The Cut and Vanity Fair Italia. They have collaborated with many numerous brands and boutiques, including Holt Renfrew, BCBGMAXAZRIA, REVOLVE, Shopbop, NARS, and Olive + Piper.
