It’s not everyday that a girl gets an invitation to a cocktail party where Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCullough are the guests of honour. But life is full of surprises, so when that invitation did come my way last month, I marked the date in my calendar (after doing a little happy dance, naturally) and got to work. Because a party with Proenza Schouler requires a carefully chosen outfit. I went with my instincts and chose a head-to-toe black look; the party would be all the excitement I could handle, I knew, so it wasn’t the time to try a bold new look. And besides – you can really never go wrong with black on black. Happy Friday, my loves – and a very happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!
