In outfits as in life, very often the best policy is the K.I.S.S. policy – keep it simple, stupid. I’m definitely guilty of overthinking my outfits now and then, and after a few days of that, there’s nothing more satisfying than an outfit that comes together totally seamlessly. You can really never go wrong with an arsenal of great basics and a few truly fabulous accessories to accent them. Happy Wednesday!

Bon mercredi, mes belles !

I’d never heard of “kiss” but I cannot but agree, the less fuss we add just makes it work. I continue to admire your gorgeous pearl and tassel necklace.

I often overthink my outfits as well and then have to remind myself to slow my roll a little bit. You’re so right – sometimes the best things are the uncomplicated ones.

Cee, I have to remember that one each & every time I put an outfit together! HaHaHa Simplicity is best. Very nice outfit.

Simplicity is sometimes underrated, but at the end of the day it usually works the best. I am really loving that skirt, it looks like a micro suede that would be so very soft and comfortable.

  5. Couldn’t agree more love. When I don’t think about my outfits but choose to focus on simplicity/my fave basics I’m always the most satisfied with my choices! Which, is exactly what I love about your style, it’s simple, but always incredibly beautiful. Hope you had a fab Wednesday!! xo

PS – Did you go the Tiffany’s event? Sad I couldn’t make the time work for me. Sigh! But probably best, I’ve had diamond fever lately. Lol! 😉

    • I was planning to go to Tiffany’s, but at the last minute had to miss out – urgent meeting overlapped with the event 🙁 I was so sad to miss out, it’s one of my favourite events of the season but, like you say, this way neither one of us impulse purchased any diamonds this week 😉
