I didn’t get much into the Christmas spirit this year, but on an evening walk in late November, I happened to spot the Enchant Christmas Market from a distance and once I saw all of its glittery glory, I knew I needed to experience it close up. We’ve had a cold, sunny winter, so it seemed reasonable to think that we could choose an evening that suited us for our visit – but of course, when the day came, it started to rain as soon as we stepped outside to walk to the market. The rain only got harder as we made our way towards our destination; by the time we arrived, my shoes were full of water and my hair was starting to look like I had just gotten out of the shower. But, as I so often do, I had a vision of beautiful, brightly lit holiday photos, and I wasn’t about to let to let anything as trivial as pouring rain stand in my way. By the end of our excursion, I was soaked to the bone – my hat took nearly two full days to dry out – but I have to say, I think it was worth it. Happy New Year!

This is a truly magical location, and I can’t blame you for your perfect vision. I think the rain adds even a little more magic, and I’m sure the hat doesn’t hold it against you. Hope your new year is off to great start and that the magic never stops.
