We had only two and a half days in London – nothing like enough time for a proper visit. But we somehow managed to meet friends, wander the parks, enjoy proper English breakfast not once but twice, have cocktails on a high up terrace with the most beautiful views of the city and spend hours browsing at Liberty, a true fashion lover’s playground if ever there was one!

You two went to some fabulous places! I want to go to all of their museums. I think it's so fabulous that many of them are free for British citizens. Gotta check out Selfridges and of course Harrods. I love that stylish hat on you girl. Cee, that is the cutest picture of you and your hubby. You should definitely consider framing it.

Hey hey!!! How amazing are these pics!! I've been offline this week (things are so busy at work…) but I have come back JUST in time for the London update. yay. I think the little things like beautiful breakfasts are such special memories. In fact, the breakfasts and little bakeries we stumble across on holiday are my favourite memories. I love how we find these little places and feel like we're living like the locals do, even temporarily. So sweet.
Lovely to read your write up and look through these beautiful images – you've got a great eye!
    Enjoy the weekend xxx

    Hi May,

Sadly, I never did find time for vintage shopping – there was so much to see and do, although I went into quite a few stores, I really didn't buy anything at all! Next time 🙂

    xox,
    Cee

  45. Cee says:

    Hi Lyddie,

I wish I'd had time to shop! I was so busy seeing everything – include the big stores – that all I came home with were some tea and chocolates. Next time, I'll be investigating the shopping much more thoroughly 🙂

    xox,
    Cee

  46. Cee says:

Sheryl… I didn't buy the hat… I regret it enormously now since Liberty's doesn't sell it online. I was really only in the store for about ten minutes, there was no time to even think of buying. I guess it just wasn't meant to be 🙁
