I’m back! I had an amazing time in the tropics and I can’t wait to tell you all about it – but before I left, I had the opportunity to do a few things I’ve been so excited to share and this photoshoot is the first. Good friends, fabulous clothes and a sunny fall afternoon; it just doesn’t get any better than that in my books. Earlier this month, I teamed up with one of my dearest friends, Veronika – if you don’t already know about her blog, you’re missing out, believe me – and LACOSTE to showcase some pieces from their beautiful fall collection. This is my second time working with LACOSTE and the brand continues to surprise me in the best possible way. For years, I associated the line with polo shirts and embroidered alligators, which are both central fixtures of their collections, but there is so much more to LACOSTE than that. I love the elegant French influence in their ready-to-wear pieces; the comfort that their sportswear roots imbues in every article; the attention to small details, like the golf ball-esque print on the leather handbags and, most of all, the quality. The older I grow – and I did have a birthday very recently – the more concerned I am with having clothes that will stand the test of time, because at this point in my life, I only want to buy things I absolutely love. And there’s no doubt that I absolutely love LACOSTE.
Je suis de retour ! J’ai bien profité de mes vacances tropicales et j’ai hâte à tout vous raconter – mais avant ça, je partage quelques shootings fait avant de partir, y inclus celui-ci, qui est sans doute mon préféré. De bonnes amies, de belles fringues et du soleil… à mon avis, il n’y a rien de mieux. Il y a quelques semaines, j’ai fait équipe avec ma chère amie Veronika – son magnifique blog et à absolument ne pas rater, je vous le promets – et LACOSTE pour vous montrer une sélection de pièces de leur collection d’automne. C’est la deuxième fois que je travaille en collaboration avec LACOSTE, une marque qui me surprend et me plaît beaucoup. Pendant longtemps, je ne connaissais que le polo et l’alligator brodé, qui demeurent tous les deux des meubles de la marque, mais la mode LACOSTE est beaucoup plus que ça. Ce que moi j’adore, c’est l’influence française et élégante dans la collection prête à porter; le confort des vêtements, grâce à l’origine sportive de la marque; le soin apporté aux détails, tel l’imprimée balle de golf sur les sacs en cuir et, surtout, la qualité. Plus je vieillisse – et je viens de fêter un autre anniversaire la semaine passée – plus j’exige que les fringues que j’achète soient de bonne qualité, car rendue à ce point-ci, je ne veux acheter que ce que j’adore absolument. Et LACOSTE, je l’adore absolument.
