So much has been said about Venice that there is little I can really add. The city was not the place I had imagined it to be, but it was hard not to love having Rialto Bridge to ourselves, however briefly, on an early morning as the sun rose over the Grand Canal… There is no doubt in my mind that the very early morning is the best time to experience all of Venice, but especially major tourist attractions like Rialto Bridge. Packed with travellers by the time the clock strikes nine, they are easy enough to visit but impossible to really experience with so many distractions. I have never been so glad that I dragged myself out of bed at 5 am. I wouldn’t trade these early morning moments on Rialto Bridge for anything in the world.

I really want to go back to Italy (I seriously won’t look half as fashionable as you – I’m in love with your pumps, by the way – but I definitely want to visit again soon!

IT really is a pretty bridge, and the background view looks stunning.

  5. I was watching a travel station and they were saying something about the first level to everything floods? Something about the city sinking? They also mentioned it’s mainly a tourist area and shopkeepers boat in. I thought that was interesting. Nonetheless Cee, it is beautiful and what glorious pics 😀 I love your outfit. Definitely something I would wear. Your sunnies are beautiful.

I truly appreciate you ability to get up early and get to enjoy a little solitude even the busiest of places. When my alarm rings on any morning even on holiday, as much as I want to get out of bed, it feels impossible.

I love your camel sweater, it looks like the perfect weight for spring.
